Martin Williams
Martin Williams is a London-based author, historian and public speaker who worked at Christie’s, Bonhams and Sotheby’s Institute of Art before he became a full-time writer. His first book, The King is Dead, Long Live the King! (Hodder & Stoughton, 2023), is an account of the social and cultural impact of the death of King Edward VII in 1910. It was selected as both a Times ‘Book of the Week’ and a Country Life ‘Book of the Year’.
